Crowned Heads Broadway Toro
The Story
Broadway is Crowned Heads’ tribute to the energy, character, and unmistakable personality of Nashville’s famous Broadway.
But the name carries another meaning. Broadway also points directly to the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that defines the blend.
This release represents a new chapter for Crowned Heads, bringing the Crowned Heads name front and center while creating a cigar built around one of the most recognizable dark wrappers in the industry.
The Blend
Broadway features a Grade A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa. The filler tobaccos come from three distinct Nicaraguan growing regions: Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe.
The cigar is handmade at Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua. The Toro measures 6½ x 54 and delivers a medium to full-bodied smoking experience.

The Experience
Broadway opens with dark earth, pepper, and roasted tobacco, quickly developing the rich sweetness that Connecticut Broadleaf is known for.
As the cigar progresses, espresso, cocoa, cedar, baking spice, and subtle dark fruit begin to emerge. The Nicaraguan core gives the cigar additional depth and character while the Broadleaf wrapper keeps the experience rich and grounded.
The result is a cigar that balances dark sweetness with spice and roasted tobacco from beginning to end.
First Third
The opening brings dark earth, pepper, espresso, and rich tobacco. A natural sweetness begins to develop underneath the initial spice, giving the cigar immediate depth.
Second Third
The profile becomes richer as cocoa, espresso, cedar, and baking spices move forward. The pepper becomes more integrated while the Broadleaf sweetness becomes increasingly noticeable.
Final Third
The final third brings the darker elements together. Espresso, cocoa, earth, cedar, and spice create a deep, lingering finish with a pronounced roasted tobacco character.
Construction & Burn
The 6½ x 54 Toro provides a substantial smoking experience and allows the blend to develop gradually. The cigar is handmade at NACSA in Nicaragua and uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan core.
Overall Experience
Crowned Heads Broadway is a cigar built around two ideas that fit together naturally: Nashville’s legendary Broadway and the rich character of Connecticut Broadleaf.
The blend delivers a darker profile with espresso, cocoa, earth, cedar, spice, and natural sweetness, while the Nicaraguan tobaccos provide the depth and complexity underneath.
Why It Stands Out
Broadway brings together tobacco from several of Nicaragua’s most respected growing regions with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that immediately gives the cigar its identity.
The 6½ x 54 Toro also gives the blend plenty of time to evolve, making it a cigar that rewards a slower smoking pace.

Burnt Leaf Insight
Broadway is Crowned Heads doing what Crowned Heads does best: taking a familiar idea and giving it its own identity.
The Connecticut Broadleaf brings the darkness and sweetness. The Nicaraguan tobaccos bring the spice, earth, and depth. Put it all together in a 6½ x 54 Toro and you get a cigar with plenty of character without losing balance.
For the Burnt Leaf smoker who enjoys rich Broadleaf, espresso, cocoa, earth, and Nicaraguan spice, Broadway deserves a spot in the rotation.
