The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust 10th Jubilee is Steve Saka’s cigar celebrating the company’s tenth anniversary. Rather than going with an elaborate anniversary figurado, Saka chose a relatively understated 5⅝ × 48 Corona Gorda, believing the format lets the blend “sing.” It was released in 2026 and is regular production.

The Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper is particularly interesting because it represents only the second DTT release to use this varietal, making the blend noticeably different from many of Saka’s more familiar profiles.
Flavor Profile
Opening Third
The Jubilee starts with an immediate combination of baking spice, cinnamon, anise and pepper, supported by cocoa, earth and cedar. There is a subtle sweetness underneath the spice that keeps the opening from becoming overly aggressive.
Second Third
This is where the cigar really begins to show its personality. Coffee, cocoa, cedar, leather and brown-sugar sweetness become more pronounced, while the pepper settles into the background. There is a nice interplay between sweet and savory flavors rather than one dominant note. Reviews also identify fruit, molasses and floral nuances as part of the evolving profile.
Final Third
The cigar becomes deeper and richer, bringing cocoa, coffee, wood, leather and exotic spice forward. Pepper builds again without overwhelming the palate. The strength also moves toward medium-full, with the body maintaining a slight edge over the nicotine.
Construction & Burn
The draw is generally excellent, with just enough resistance to deliver a concentrated amount of smoke. The cigar produces a generous smoke output and maintains a comfortable smoking temperature.
The burn can be the one area that requires attention. Some reviews found the cigar needed occasional touch-ups, although the burn temperature and overall performance remained very good. Other smokers have reported an exceptionally clean burn, so construction appears to be strong overall.
Overall Experience
The 10th Jubilee is a very different expression from Steve Saka, and that’s what makes it compelling. The Sumatra wrapper gives the cigar a darker, sweeter and more aromatic character than you might expect from a typical DTT blend.
What stands out most is the balance between spice, sweetness, earth and darker flavors. It isn’t simply a powerhouse cigar. Instead, it develops gradually, with the second half providing the greatest depth.
The 5⅝ × 48 Corona Gorda is also an excellent choice. It gives Saka enough room to develop the blend while keeping the experience focused rather than turning it into an oversized anniversary cigar.

The Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper brings something different to the Dunbarton portfolio, while the Mexican binder and four-estate Nicaraguan filler provide the foundation for a cigar that evolves fromspice and pepper into coffee, cocoa, leather, wood and sweetness.
It’s sophisticated without being pretentious, complex without becoming complicated, and strong enough to command your attention without overpowering the experience.
This is an anniversary cigar that doesn’t need fireworks. The blend itself is the celebration.
