Flavor Profile

The sweetened cap introduces a floral opening that immediately sets this cigar apart. As the smoke settles in, it transitions into a true Nicaraguan character driven by the combination of Jalapa and Ometepe tobaccos. Notes of roasted cashews, hickory wood, cedar, and earth take center stage, while a measured spice develops through the middle portion of the cigar. The sweetness remains subtle, complementing rather than overpowering the natural tobacco flavors.

Construction & Burn

The Toro vitola allows the blend to evolve gradually, providing a cool and balanced smoking experience. The Indonesian binder helps tie the Nicaraguan fillers together, creating a consistent draw with ample smoke production. Expect an even burn, firm ash, and a profile that becomes increasingly complex as the cigar progresses.

Overall Experience

The FP Miami Toro delivers a unique combination of floral sweetness and traditional Nicaraguan depth. The sweet tip makes the cigar approachable, while the blend of Jalapa, Ometepe, and Condega tobaccos provides enough complexity to keep experienced smokers interested. It’s a versatile smoke that pairs well with coffee, bourbon, rum, or a relaxing evening among friends.

Burnt Leaf Insight

The FP Miami Toro walks the line between sweetness and authenticity remarkably well. The floral opening draws you in, but it’s the roasted cashew, hickory wood, and subtle Nicaraguan spice that keep you engaged. This isn’t a candy-coated cigar. It’s a well-balanced blend that uses a touch of sweetness to enhance, not mask, the character of the tobacco. A smooth, flavorful Miami-crafted smoke with enough complexity to earn a regular spot in the rotation.
