Flavor Profile
First Third
The cigar starts with dark chocolate, roasted coffee, oak and a touch of black pepper. There’s an underlying dried-fruit sweetness that keeps the Maduro from becoming too heavy. The oak is noticeable right away but doesn’t overpower the tobacco.
Second Third
This is where the cigar really starts to come together. Oak, dark chocolate, espresso, earth and dried fruit become more pronounced. The pepper settles down, and a subtle bourbon-like sweetness develops in the background. The smoke becomes creamier and more rounded.
