Flavor Profile
Expect a profile that leans into dark cocoa, black pepper, earth, and a subtle natural sweetness that can shift between molasses and dried fruit on the retrohale. The torpedo format tends to concentrate the spice through the draw, especially in the first third, where pepper and roasted coffee notes usually lead. As it moves into the second third, the body often opens into richer earth, cedar, and a darker chocolate core. The final third can intensify with leather, baking spice, and a lingering smoky sweetness.

Construction & Burn
Torpedo formats like this typically require a careful cut to avoid tightening the draw. When well rolled, it should deliver a steady burn line with a slightly firm but controlled draw. Expect a touch more concentration of flavor due to the tapered head, which can make temperature and airflow feel more focused compared to a straight parejo. Occasional touch ups may be needed depending on humidity and storage.

Overall Experience
This cigar sits in the category of bold, flavor forward smokes that reward a slow cadence. It tends to show its best character after the first inch when the blend settles and the core sweetness integrates with the spice. It is the kind of cigar that pairs well with espresso, aged rum, or a neat pour of darker whiskey, especially in a relaxed evening setting.

Burnt Leaf Insight
This is a cigar that performs best when you respect its pace. Do not rush the first third, let the torpedo concentrate the delivery, and you will get a layered transition that moves from spice heavy introduction to a darker, sweeter finish that lingers on the palate.
