The Juárez Bulldozer features a modified version of the original Juárez blend, in a box-pressed 5 1/2" x 58 vitola, finished with a pigtail cap. "We hadn't done a limited Juárez release since we did 'Shots' in 2022," commented Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber, "and this time, rather than go with a smaller format like Shots, we went in the opposite direction. We wanted a big-bang, flavor-forward profile to accompany the larger 58 ring gauge, so we amped up the original blend, then box-pressed it and finished it with a pigtail cap."
Originally released in 2019, Juárez takes its brand inspiration from the Johnny Cash version of the song, "Cocaine Blues," found on the 1968 album, "At Folsom Prison." The Juárez Bulldozer is comprised of an Ecuadorian (Sumatra) binder, filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Mexico (San Andres), and the Dominican Republic, and is finished with a Mexican (San Andres) cover leaf. The total production of Juárez Bulldozer LE 2025 will be limited to 1,500 (12-count) boxes (18,000 total cigars)
