The Liga Privada Único Serie UF-13 is one of the most respected and hardest-to-find cigars in the Drew Estate lineup, and it sits right in that “cult favorite” tier of the Unico Series.

• Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro (dark, oily, heavy character)
• Binder: Brazilian Mata Fina
• Filler: Nicaraguan + Honduran long fillers

It’s part of the Unico Serie, meaning it’s a small batch experimental blend rather than a regular production cigar, which is why it comes and goes in waves.  

Flavor profile

This is where UF-13 earns its reputation.

You typically get:

• First third: dark cocoa, espresso, earth, slight sweetness on the lips
• Mid body: black pepper, leather, toasted wood, baking spice
• Final third: heavier intensity, charred oak, dark chocolate bitterness, lingering pepper

There’s also a subtle creamy undertone that keeps it from becoming too sharp, even though it smokes full-bodied.

Construction & burn

• Very dense roll, typical Drew Estate precision
• Thick, chewy smoke output
• Slow burn with a firm ash
• Occasional heat build-up in the final third if pushed too fast

It’s built for slow smoking, not rushing.

Overall experience

This is widely considered one of the top 2 or 3 cigars in the entire Unico Serie by a lot of smokers. It leans darker and more structured than Rat or Flying Pig expressions, with more cocoa and espresso depth instead of sweetness or novelty.

It’s not a gimmick cigar like some Unicos can be. This one feels more like a serious, full-bodied Maduro expression of the Liga Privada DNA.

UF-13 is that cigar where Drew Estate shows restraint inside chaos. The Unico line is experimental, but this one feels like the most “complete idea” in the series. It doesn’t rely on tricks or shape novelty. It just delivers a deep Maduro profile with balance and weight.
