Strength & Body
Medium-Full
A very flavorful cigar that builds gradually. The Cameroon wrapper brings spice and character, while the Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers provide depth without making the cigar overly aggressive.
Flavor Profile
First Third
Pepper and milk chocolate lead the way, followed by caramel, coffee, almonds, earth and leather. There’s a beautiful sweet-and-spicy balance right from the start.
Second Third
The profile becomes creamier and more refined. Almond transitions toward hazelnut, while coffee, caramel, cedar and leather remain underneath. The sweetness really starts to shine.
Final Third
The cigar gets deeper and more complex, bringing in mild spice, espresso, chocolate, leather and a touch of licorice. The finish is long, sweet and pleasantly spicy.
Construction & Burn
Excellent box-pressed construction with a lush draw and strong smoke production. The burn is generally very even, allowing the complex blend to develop naturally through the entire cigar.
Overall Experience
This is one of Caldwell’s best cigars. The Cameroon wrapper is the key—it brings a combination of spice, sweetness and aromatic character that works beautifully with the Indonesian Sumatra binder and Dominican/Nicaraguan core.
The Ace of Hearts isn’t simply a different size of Long Live the Queen; the box press seems to give the cigar an especially concentrated and deliberate smoking experience.
Burnt Leaf Insight
This is THE QUEEN. 👑
The Ace of Hearts is exactly what a boutique cigar should be: distinctive, complex and immediately recognizable. The combination of Cameroon spice, chocolate, coffee, caramel and nuts gives it enough transitions to keep you interested from the first puff to the last.
And considering it was the highest-rated vitola in the Long Live the Queen line, the hype is justified.
