My Father La Opulencia Toro Box Press
The Story
La Opulencia means richness and abundance, and that idea is at the heart of this My Father creation.
The Garcia family brought together a distinctive Mexican Rosado Oscuro wrapper with Nicaraguan tobacco grown on their own family farms, creating a cigar that combines depth, richness, and complexity in classic My Father fashion.
La Opulencia was introduced as a new expression within the My Father portfolio, with the entire line presented in a box-pressed format. The Toro earned significant recognition, including the No. 2 position on Cigar Aficionado’s 2018 Top 25 Cigars list.
The Blend
The Toro is wrapped in a dark Mexican Rosado Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binders and Nicaraguan Cuban-seed filler grown on Garcia family farms.
The cigar is handmade in Nicaragua at the My Father Cigars factory in Estelí.

The Experience
La Opulencia opens with a rich combination of earth, dark cocoa, leather, and pepper. The Mexican Rosado Oscuro wrapper brings depth to the profile while the Nicaraguan core provides the character and complexity expected from My Father.
As the cigar progresses, chocolate and coffee notes develop alongside cedar, leather, spice, and a subtle creamy sweetness. The box press contributes to an easy, controlled smoking experience and allows the blend to develop gradually from beginning to end.
